He retired at age 65 from Lone Star Auctioneers, a company based in the DFW area.
Stanley was a member of Ebony Acres Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School to boys in the 12 to 15 year age group.
Stanley will always be remembered for his love of, and passion for, racing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Autry and Hattie Pinkerd, and by his sister, Shirley Pinkerd Clary Moncrief.
He is survived by daughters Janet Anthony (Blake), Pamela Hight (Jesse), and son Jack Pinkerd (Lori). He is also survived by his brothers David Pinkerd (Verna) and Bobby Pinkerd.
Stanley is survived by six grandchildren, Michele Summa, Frank Cervera III, Josh Pinkerd, Derek Pinkerd, Nathan Hight, Vanessa Perez, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Pallbearers will be close family/ friends, Jesse, Nathan, Danny, Kevin, Michael and Chris.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
