The third marriage was to Nancy Waldean Smith on July 22, 1944 in Warren County Kentucky, Nancy died 1985. The marriage to Nancy Waldean produced three sets of twins: Earl and Nancy in 1945 and Dan and Ann in 1950 and Rita and Rebecca in 1959. All of these twins died in infancy and are buried at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Simpson County Kentucky.
