Ms. Angela Ann Carter, age 68 of Portland, TN died Monday, October 28, 2019 at Gallatin Center for Nursing and Rehab in Gallatin, TN. Ms. Carter was born December 7, 1950 in Gallatin TN.
Ms. Carter is survived by her daughter, Robin Farough (Joey) of Portland, TN. A son, Ronald Dewayne Carter of Portland, TN. Her mother, Robbie Wallace Burnett of Portland, TN. Her father and step-mother, Haskell and Azzie Dee Ray of Hartsville, TN. A brother, Haskell Ray Jr of White House, TN. Five sisters; Robbie Jean Laverick of Ann Arbor, MI, Karen Deckard, Brenda McClanahan (Robert), Linda Eden (Thomas Lee) and Darlene “Dolly” Ray all of Hartsville, TN. Four grandchildren; Wesley Huntsman, Jessica Johnston, Jordan Carter and Blake Inman.
Angela was a member of Pipers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Carter and two sisters, Theresa Gray and Lisa White.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday November 1, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow in Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
