Abbott, Betty Jean age 82 of Kentwood passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday November 6.
She was preceded in death by her son Eugene Paul Abbott.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Charles; her children Mike (Carol) Abbott, Patty (Leo) Flanagan, Bob Abbott, Janet (Todd) Dravk and Karen (Matt) Rector. Nine Grandchildren; four of whom shared a special bond with her, Nicole, Sean, Kaela and Marissa, one Great Grandchild Jack, and her beloved Grand Dogs.
She was a skilled Beautician who loved Crossword Puzzles, Bingo and playing Board games with her Grandchildren. The biggest joy in her life was spending time with her family.
Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 PM Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 10, 2014 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building). For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
