Thomas Lee "Tom" Beeman, Sr., of Kitzmiller, MD, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at his home.
Born April 11, 1946, in Vindex, MD, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Margaret Ellen (Campanella) Beeman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Susan (Tasker) Beeman; two brothers, Carl Burton and Lawrence "Sonny" Beeman; one sister, Dorothy Virts.
Thomas worked for Masteller Coal Company as a coal miner. He attended Highway Assembly of God in Kitzmiller, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by one son, Thomas L. Beeman, Jr, and wife, Betty A., Swanton, MD; one daughter, Sue E. Welch, and husband, Burl "Ed", Oakland, MD; one brother, Rocky D. Beeman, Sr., and wife, Ellen, Kitzmiller; one sister, Shirley Virts, Kitzmiller; six grandchildren, Amanda L. Otto; Jeremy S. Welch, and wife, McKenzy; Elizabeth A. Arnold; Thomas L. Beeman III; Brandon A. Welch; Emily S. Welch, and one great grandchild, Skylar L. Arnold.
At Thomas' request, he will be cremated. A private service will be held at a later date.
