Red Deer Advocate – July 25 1945

Funeral services were held in the Hespero Community Hall on Sunday, July 15, for Violet Cole, nine-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cole of Hespero, with Rev. Ian McSween officiating. Pallbearers were Norman Bunch, Ralph English, Stanley McCreight, Arthur Thomas, Clarence Torsti and Donald Ross. Surviving are her parents, three sisters, Yevonne, Bernice and Moira; and her brother Ian. Among the many beautiful floral tributes were wreaths from Daisy Nook School Friends, Members of the Hespero Sunday School, Mr. Currie and The Boys of the Outfit, Hespero Community Club and the Hespero Ladies' Aid. Interment took place in the Hespero Cemetery.
