"Jack" LANE was the son of George R. Lane and Mildred W. DeBREE. He was married to Norma A. TROEGER. Their children are: Mary, GInger (Koning), Jack T., Thomas, and LInda. Jack was an educator in Grand Rapids Public Schools and assistant principal at Forest Hills Central High, then first Principal at the establishment of Forest Hills Northern High School. Following his retirement from Northern, he worked to enroll veterans at Davenport University. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard., then volunteered at the Soldiers Home. He loved "up north" Michigan and the common loon on his Sauble Lakes.
