Nora Mae Ward, age 71, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Monday, January 12, 1970 in the City Hospital.

She was born May 11, 1898 at Lawton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Francis Marion and Nora Mae (Agnew) Lawson.

She was a Baptist.

Mae and Harvey S. Ward were married January 25, 1918 in Washington County.

She was predeceased by her parents; an infant daughter; a brother, John Ernest Lawson; and a sister, Lula F. Hudson.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Billie Belle (and husband, Allen) Cooper of Nevada, Missouri; a brother, George Washington Lawson of Cooper, Texas; and two sisters, Mary Ann Guthrie of Fayetteville and Mattie Walker of Denver, Colorado.

Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 1970 at Moore's Chapel.

Burial in Combs Chapel Cemetery in SE Fayetteville.
