Leonardo "Leo" Paul Giampietro, husband of Sherry Giampietro, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the age of 67. Born October 16, 1951, in Venezuela, he was the son of Maria and Antonio Giampietro. He spent the first few years of his life living in Pacentro, Italy, before his family moved to Coraopolis, PA.
Leo served in the US Army followed, by a very successful 32+ year career with the FAA as a Sr. Electronic Engineer. He had a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering.
Anyone who knew Leo, knew he was a jokester. He had a prank up his sleeve for any given situation. His personality and humor were contagious and always made the people around him laugh. Leo was a jack of all trades. Full time comedian, master hypnotist, musician, inventor, and a devoted Catholic.
He is survived by his two loving daughters Antoinette and Alisha Giampietro. His step-daughters Jennifer and Lauren Lunde. His brother Jack Giampietro and his sisters Yola Battaglini, Anna Marie Angelone and Diane DiFelice.
