LOWELL - The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at New Life Center Church in Springfield for Ethel LaVellar Lister of Lowell. She died July 11 of injuries suffered in a fall at age 95.
She was born Nov. 5, 1911, in Seattle to Lewis and Elinor Cantrell Baughman. She married Walter Lister on Sept. 7, 1927, in Harrison, Ark.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Harold of Lowell and Donald, Jerry and William, all of Springfield; a daughter, Charlene Baumbach of Dixon, Calif.; 25 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband died Dec. 16, 1990, and a son, Wilbur, died previously.
Burial will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
