Carolyn "Kay" Matteson, 78, of Haines City, FL passed away on August 11, 2015.
She was born on May 30, 1937 in Washington, Indiana to Roy and Josephine(Jones)Hill.
She attended Washington High School and also graduated from business school. She was an Office Manager for Hyatt Hotels, and later dealt with foreign currency exchange for Wells Fargo.
She is survived by her children; Christopher(Lynnette)Matteson, Lisa K. Matteson, and Yvonne R. Matteson; grandchildren, Jennifer Rastegar, Matthew Haynes, Preston Matteson, Heath Matteson, Danielle Gillingham, Rachelle Gillingham, Amber Benson, Heather Padgett, Tiffany Matteson; great-grandchildren; Asher Rategar, Stella Rastegar, Allie Padgett, Hanna Padgett; and siblings, Patricia Murray and Gordon Hill.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Marla Haynes; and brothers; Robert Hill and James "Tink" Hill.
Services for Carolyn "Kay" Matteson will be held at Bethany Christian Church on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Matt Merold officiating.
Burial will be at Sugarland Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at Bethany Christian Church on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 4-8 p.m., and Monday, August 17, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. Preferred memorials are to Friends for Animals.
