A memorial service for Pastor Virginia “Lollee” Daily, 70, of Emory was held on November 3, at Bethany Spirit Filled Church. Bro. Joel Daily officiated.

Mrs. Daily died on October 29, 2019, at home in Emory. She was born on September 4, 1949, in Dallas to Fred and Vera Hope.

She grew up in Oak Cliff before moving with her parents to Garland. She married Larry “Pop” Daily in Garland, on February 29,1968. They were married for almost 52 years. She was the pastor of Bethany Spirit Filled Church in Emory and she loved to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone she met. She was a homemaker and a professional seamstress, but her passion in life was Jesus Christ. She was a living example of a Godly lady, wife, mom and friend.

Mrs. Daily is survived by her husband; son, Joel Daily and wife Kelley of Woodland Park, Colo.; daughter, Mandy Ausmus and husband Charles of Alba; grandchildren, Erin Michelle of Gatesville, Courtney Spence and husband Andrew of Golden, Hannah Daily and fiancé Jeremy Dean of Woodland Park, Colo., Nayeli, Kaden “Bubba” and Jack all of Alba, great-grandchildren, Emma, Addie and Cullen “Pete” all of Golden; and many children that she was “Mom” and “Grandma” to when needed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Ginger Jo; daughter, Penny; grandsons, Matthew “Bubba” and Tyler; and several unborn grandchildren.
