WILLIAM SPOTTED TAIL DIES OF HEART ATTACK.
RAPID CITY -- Feb. 25 - A belated report was received here today from the remote Rosebud country that William Spotted Tail, 68, son of the famous Sioux Chief, Spotted Tail, died February 14 and was buried with military honors last Wednesday.
Spotted Tail, a former scout and friend of the white settlers, was reported to have died of a heart attack after a speech at Parmelee. Spotted Tail was a member of the Episcopal church at Rosebud and fairly well educated.
A widow and an undetermined number of children survive.
