Jennings is survived by a very special brother, and three sisters. He is also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
Jennings was a graduate of Burch High School in Delbarton. He was baptized and became a member of the Sardis Old Regular Baptist Church. During a time of struggle for the family, they moved to New Castle, Delaware, where he worked for General Motors and along with his other brothers gave his pay to family's with needs. After returning to Delbarton, he took over the family country store and worked until retirement. Since that time he and two sisters have lived in Huntington, WV. Over the years Jennings was a great help to many people. He loved to cook, garden, research genealogy, loved people and most of all he loved his nieces, nephews, and cousins and his faithful dog, Rascal.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 2:00pm with Elder Joey Evans officiating at the Sardis Old Regular Baptist Church at Delbarton, WV.
