Minnie B. Rindt, 78, of Savoy, died at 7:52 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Center, Urbana.
Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rindt was born on Oct. 4, 1928, in Anson, Texas, the daughter of Jimmie and Wilma Cox Simpson. She married Jack L. Rindt on Feb. 12, 1951, in Covington, IN; he survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Virginia Williams of Santa Barbara, CA; and an aunt, Bobbie (Dewitt) Moore of Lubbock, TX. (She also has two surviving nieces, Cindy Anderson Mitchell and Debby Anderson Cowles.)
She was a medical transcriptionist for Burnham and Mercy Hospitals. She owned her own typing business where she did thesis for physics transcripts; she also did medical transcriptions at home.
Minnie was raised by her grandparents. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
