A resident of Ross County all his life, he was born at Yellowbud on Dec. 7, 1878, a son of John and Ella Rowe Pembleton. He was a member of Friends Church in Londonderry and the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen. Mr. Pembleton was employed by the B.&O. railroad for 25 years, retiring in 1948. On Nov. 24, 1919 he married Frances Detty, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Steinbrunner of Dayton and Mrs. Melvin Erickson of Minneapolis, Minn.; a son, Earl of Londonderry; two brothers, George of Roxabell and Clyde of Columbus; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will b at the Fawcett Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Charles Schaffer of Columbus officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence, 840 Adams Ave., Wednesday.
