Melissa M. (King) Abou Elenein, 47, of Orleans Street, Johnston passed away peacefully on November 10, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Mohamed Abou Elenein.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Brandt) King.

Melissa was an Executive Secretary of Health Services for the State of Rhode Island: Department of Corrections.

She was the mother of Christy King and Mackenzie Abou Elenein; sister of Karen King, Theresa “Tracy” Villella, Rebecca Ouimett and the late Vincent and Margaret King and cherished grandmother of Hanna Kesson.

Her funeral will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at 9:00 am in the RPlano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
