Gordonsville, Va., May 16, [Special] —Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Wise Strange, wife of Hinman F. Strange, a farmer, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday at Christ Episcopal Church here.
Mrs. Strange, who was 49, died Wednesday [actually Thurs. 16 May per death cert.] at her home, Annadale [Gordonsville, VA].
She was born in Baltimore, the daughter of Dr. Walter D. Wise and the late Mrs. Agnes Whiting Wise.
She attended St. Timothy’s School outside Baltimore. Mrs. Strange made her debut in Baltimore at the Bachelor’s Cotillon in 1946.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Strange is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marshall Lee Johnson, of Charlottesville, Va. and Mrs. Philip Mumford, of Towson, Md., and three grandchildren.
