Bernice Wagner, 91, of Duluth, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center after a brief battle with Pneumonia.
Bernice was born in Duluth on Nov. 4, 1928. She went to Hermantown schools, and graduated from Central High School. She married William in 1946 and together they raised a family. She liked to travel and take her family on trips. She enjoyed her trips to Black Bear to play bingo and slots.
Bernice is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Wagner; daughter, Linda Mallon; and son, Terry Wagner.
Bernice is survived by her son, Michael; grandchildren, Debra (Wayne) Curry, Sherry Mallon, James W. Mallon, Lynnette (John) Connor, and Cory Wagner; 14 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved and respected her.
VISITATION: 11 am on Saturday, Nov. 16th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with funeral service to follow at Noon. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park next to her husband and son.
