Joseph Glenn Wilson, 40, of 168-A Cedar Bluffs Dr. died Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Mission Hospitals.

A native of McDowell County, he had moved to Candler in 1970 and lived in Hendersonville since 2001. He was a 1982 graduate of Enka High School and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Mr. Wilson was the son of William Howard Wilson of Asheville and the late Betty Jean Kanipe Wilson.

Surviving in addition to his father is his wife, Jennifer Marie Reed Wilson of the home; sisters, Rebecca Ann Davis of Black Mtn. and Megan Jane Wilson of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Eugene Howard Wilson of Lenoir, Terry Mac Wilson of Hickory, Ronald Blaine Wilson of Griffin, GA, Donald Wayne Wilson of Asheville, and Derrick Sven Wilson of Fletcher; mother-in-law, Eleonore Rose Reed of Leominster MA; sisters-in-law, Laurie Ann Reed Trigg of Ft. Pierce, FL and Jacquelyn Marie Ann Reed of Leominster, MA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 4 PM Thursday at Cross Memorial Cemetery, Marion, NC

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen, Rev. Donald Wilson, and Rev. Ricky Edwards officiating.
