Postmistress of Olpe, no children.

I knew my great aunt very well, we visited her often in Olpe, and many times she was at my grandmother’s home in Newton KS. Mary Lu cared for her father until his death. She was so very sweet and kind, and her favorite nephew was my uncle H.J. Her marriage with “Hal” was called a “Love Affair”. I visit her grave whenever I’m in Kansas. The townspeople of Olpe fondly remember her.
I never knew about her first marriage except through the 1930 census. I don’t know if they divorced or he died.
