Wynona Taylor, 95, of Hillsboro passed away November 16, 2019 at Wesley House. She was born November 19, 1923 in Hillsboro, Texas to Joe and Willie Williams.
She was reared with one sister and three brothers on a farm and knew the meaning of hard work. Beady went to Hillsboro High School and graduated with the class of 1941. On June 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Birdwell Taylor and they were married for 68 years before his passing in 2011. She retired from Northern Butane Propane Gas Company in 1989. She was also a lifelong member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Joe and Willie Williams; a sister, Dora Podsednik; two brothers, James Williams and Ruel Williams; nephews, Ray Podsednik and James Howard Williams.
Survivors include two sons, Birdwell Gayle Taylor, Kenneth Ray Taylor, a brother, Wayne Williams, grand children, great grand children and other extended family.
Funeral services will be November 22, 2019. Burial will follow at the Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro...M_M
