Larry Patton Davidson, age 74, of Dudley, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019.
Mr. Davidson was a native of Laurens County and the son of the late J.T. Davidson, Sr. and the late Della Payne Davidson. He was a retired deputy working many dedicated years with the Laurens County and Bleckley County Sheriff’s Department. Larry loved hunting and fishing as well as traveling.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his brothers, J.T. Davidson, Jr. and Billy Joe Davidson, and sister, Martha Joyce Davidson.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Davidson, of Dudley; son, Darryl Davidson (Sheila), of Dudley; grandson, Zack Davidson, of Dudley; brother, Robert Davidson (Beth), of Allentown, sister-in-law, Martha Ann Fordham Davidson, of Allenton, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Allentown Cemetery. Rev. Gerald Frazier will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
