Minnie Hazel Can June 18, 1906 Aug. 9, 1995 Minnie H. Carr, 89, of Salem died Wednesday in her home. An Arkansas native, she moved to Oregon in 1969 after retiring from a career as a psychiatric technician with the state of California. She belonged to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, helping to found a church in Stockton, Calif. Her hobbies included painting and cooking. Her husband, Eugene, is deceased. Survivors include daughter, Anita Jacobsen of Salem; and three grandchildren. No services will be held. Arrangements are by Howell-Ed-wards-Doerksen mortuary.
