Peter M. DeLuca, age 19, loving son of Peter and Ann (Cunningham) DeLuca died at home Sunday morning.

Born and raised in Salem, he grew up playing baseball in Salem Little League and also played Pop Warner football. In high school he played on the golf and lacrosse team but his passion was skateboarding and music. He enjoyed performing in productions where he was known for occasionally "stealing the show". Known for his great sense of humor, he could easily make people laugh and was known by all to be the "life of a party". Every year he and his family took an annual vacation to Square Pond where Peter developed a love for the outdoors, fishing, boating, catching frogs and snakes and caring for wildlife. A graduate of Salem High School in the Class of 2006, Peter was now employed with his father at Marshall and Sons Construction.

In addition to his parents Peter is survived by his loving sister Lauren of Salem; his maternal grandparents Richard and Louise (Parisella) Cunningham of Beverly; his paternal grandmother Leonne (Levesque) DeLuca , widow of Guido DeLuca of Danvers; his aunts and uncles Nancy Cunningham of Beverly, Patricia and Mark Patnaude of Beverly who were also his Godparents, Lisa Cunningham and Kevin Moran of Farmington, CT, Richard Cunningham and his fiancé Alaine Manzi of Beverly, Lynne Cunningham of Salem and Michael DeLuca of Cambridge; three cousins Matthew and David Patnaude of Beverly and Sara Cunningham of Salem and his large extended family and many friends.
