They were later divorced. She retired as a bartender having worked at Mae's Tap, V.F.W. Post # and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing bingo. Ruth E. "Toots" (Welsch) Walker, age 85, of Muscatine; Muscatine County passed away on Sunday; June 24, 2007, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Two brothers: Robert Welsch and his wife: June of Muscatine, Iowa & Jack Welsch and his wife: Joan of Montgomery; Montgomery County, Alabama. One sister: Elizabeth Tietge and her husband: Don of Muscatine, Iowa and one granddaughter: Michelle Tisor of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Michael Tisor in 1966, and brothers: Billy Welsch in 1992 and Paul Barringer in 2005. May they rest in peace. No public services are planned. Interment will be in Columbus City Cemetery.
