Born February 13, 1911 in Emporia, Kan., and a resident of Sapulpa since 1944, he had lived at 6616 E. Archer in Tulsa with his daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Wentzel for the past four years.

Housley retired in 1975 from Webco Tank Company of Sapulpa as a truck driver. He served in the US Air Force during WWII.
Survivors include five sons: Chester C. Jr., Donald Eugene, Doyle F. and Clinton Duane, all of Sapulpa, and Rev. Dale Lee of Tulsa; three daughters: Mrs. Carolyn Wentzel of Tulsa, Mrs. Anna Carrell of Tulsa and Mrs. Carla Love of Sapulpa; a sister, Mrs. Wilma Robins of Tulsa; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday in the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Robert Furr officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens [Sapulpa] under the direction of Owen Funeral Home [Sapulpa].
The family will headquarter at 1814 S. Muskogee, the home of Donald Housley.
