Paul Allbright, age 79, died on May 6, 2012, under the care of Good Samaritan Society Hospice in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Paul was born in Paris, France, to Clare and Jean Zanguin.

Paul endured the ravages of a German-occupied France. As a young man, Paul immigrated to Canada. He was inducted into the United States Army while visiting relatives in California. Paul served in Korea for a year in the infantry, First Battle Group, First Cavalry Division.

After serving in the Army, Paul attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, graduating with distinction in 1963. Paul worked as a psychiatric technician in various hospitals while he was a student. With high expectations, he opened his practice in Marin County, Calif. Paul earned the title of Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition the following year.

When he graduated from Chiropractic College, Paul had his last name legally changed to Allbright. He married Lois in 1974. A brave man, he took on the co-parenting of Elizabeth's five teenagers until they married or graduated from college.

During his retirement years, Paul and his wife built their dream house by the sea in Baja, Mexico. They enjoyed life there until Paul became ill. In order to get the best medical care, they moved to Prescott, Ariz. in order to be close to the VA here. His illness was diagnosed as Progressive Supra-nuclear Palsy.
