Karen L. Sambdman, 68, of Davenport, passed away on November 18, 2019, at her home in Davenport.

Funeral services will be Noon, Friday, November 22, at Adventure Christian Community Church in Davenport. A luncheon will follow the services at the church. Memorials may be made to the family in her memory.

Karen Lee Sanders was born September 12, 1951, in Davenport, the daughter of Eugene and Opal (Miller) Sanders. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1969. She married Craig Virgil Sambdman on December 19, 1970. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, children, grandchildren and her dog, Angel. She was a member of Adventure Christian Community Church and volunteered for many years at Winnie’s Wishes. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.

Surviving are her husband, Craig of Davenport; two sons, Todd (Diane) Sambdman and Cory (Paul) Sambdman, both of Davenport; one sister, Dorothy (Danny) Vaughn of Bettendorf; one brother, Ken (Vickie) Sanders of Moline, IL; five grandchildren, Jenna, Ally, Haley, Blake and Ayden; and numerous great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
