Peter M. Brackett lost his battle with cancer peacefully on May 19, 2019. He was 55 years old. Peter grew up in New Harbor, Maine and attended Lincoln Academy in Newcastle. He was raised on the ocean, with sea legs as soon as he could walk. He was an avid fisherman, and was in his glory when he was on the water. Other than spending time with family and friends, there was nothing he enjoyed more. He loved animals, and was never without a "pup" in his life.

Peter was fortunate enough to have two families to share his life with, and loved them both dearly.

He was survived by his pride and joys, his children: son, Russell Brackett and wife, Jillian, his daughters, Kianna Santos, Karissa Asadorian, Kasidee Brackett, and wife Shauna Brackett, and Kamaryn Brackett, and his grandbabies, Camden Matthew, Madyson Cheyenne-Mae, and Aurora Candace, his mother's Martha Brackett and Sandra J. Olesen, father Mark Wilson, brothers Russell Chandler and wife Dorothy, John Risbara and wife Marcy, Mike Wright and wife Marcy, Matthew Fowler, sisters Lisa Brackett, Alyssa Doherty and Jennifer Risbara Ladouceur and husband Wayne, his best friend Kali Loubier and many nieces and nephews.

He was also predeceased by his father Norman Brackett, his sister Candace Butler, and his brother Timmy Risbara.

Peter will be missed by all. More than he will ever know.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Ayers Park on Seven Tree Pond in Union on June 30th. This will be rescheduled if it rains, contact the family for information.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Waldoboro.
