DELEON SPRINGS Betty Arlene Weber, 70, of Whooping Crane Drive, a former clerk for J.C. Penney, Green Valley, Ariz., died Wednesday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.
Mrs. Weber was born in Elizabeth, W.Va., and moved here this year from Green Valley. She enjoyed crafts and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Michael, Green Valley, and Steven, Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Linda Gordon, DeLeon Springs, and Dianna Verlini, Farmington, N.Y.; a brother, Paul Piggott, Morgantown, W.Va.; three sisters, Norma Minor, Belpre, Ohio, Garnet McGrew, Washington, W.Va., and Doris Cannady, Hermitage, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, West Volusia Unit, 218-A E. New York Ave., DeLand, FL 32724. Phoenix Cremation, South Daytona, is in charge.
