Angelina Antonia Andrade, 89, formerly of Colonial Road, Providence, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday November 22, 2019. She was the wife of the late George Joseph Andrade.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Antonia ( DeBrito ) Gomes.
Angelina was a member of the Cape Verde Association.
She is survived by her children, Paul G. Andrade of Providence, Charlene A. Fry and her husband Christopher of Westerly, Hilda A. Viera of Providence, step daughters, Eva Gamble of Cranston, Georganna Gamble of Roslindale, MA, Dianne Addison of Hammond, LA, her siblings, John Gomes of East Providence, Paulinho Gomes of Stratford, CT, Joseph Gomes of Bridgeport, CT, Adelina Ramos of Providence, Auxilla Encarnacao of Cape Verde, 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Francisco Gomes and Maria Santos.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday December 2, 2019 at 9:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Rt. 2, Exeter, RI.
