Robert Dennis Russell was born to Rozetta and Robert Russell. Rob graduated from Seaman high school in 1975, then went on to graduate from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1979.

Rob married Beth (Johnson) on March 14, 1992. They welcomed two children, Levi and Allie. Rob was a man of many talents. He owned and operated Midway Auto Supply Central before starting Kaw Valley Hardwood, Inc., specializing in hardwood floors and custom cabinets. Later, he followed his passion for barbeque and worked for Ace of Hearts BBQ before returning to the construction industry with Capital City Flooring. He truly enjoyed working in construction and had an eye for home design and remodeling. Outside of work, he spent time with family (including the dogs) and enjoyed being outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or just relaxing and visiting on his patio. Rob knew no stranger and would have given the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Rob will forever be remembered by his best friend and wife Beth; his children Levi (Emily) and Allie; his brother Randy (Rhonda); and his sisters Lori (Mark) and Sherri (Jeff), along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
