The family was living in Youngstown, Ohio, in the 1910 Federal census. Patrick Duffy, aged 39, was working as a roller at an iron mill, and owned the family home; Ella Duffy was 38; Irene Duffy aged 13; Helen Duffy, aged 12, Catherine Duffy aged 11, and John Duffy, aged 11.
Helen Cecile Duffy and Frank James Reynolds were married on November 28, 1918, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in East Chicago, Indiana.
According to the 1920, 1930 and 1940 Federal censuses, Frank and Helen Duffy lived in East Chicago with their children: Nadyne; Mary; Francis; and Therese. Frank Reynolds, Sr. worked as a superintendent in the steel industry.
Frank Reynolds, Sr, died on June 10, 1951.
Her only son Frank Reynolds, Jr, died on July 20, 1983.
OBITUARY:
Helen Cecile Duffy Reynolds died on July 20, 1991, at the Whiting Convalescent Home, in Whiting, Indiana.
Survivors included her three daughters: Nadyne Kinght, West Allis, Wisconsin; Mary Kilpatrick and Terese (William) Thanholt, both of Crown Point; her daughter-in-law of Chevy Chase, Maryland; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Private funeral service were held on July 23, 1991, at St Mary’s Catholic Church in East Chicago, Indiana, with burial at Mount Mercy Cemetery.
