Debbie L. Croft (Lear) Hampton, 58, Altoona, passed away Monday at her residence,
after a hard- fought battle with cancer.
She was born in
Altoona,
daughter of
the late Oscar
Landis and Iona Gertrude (Lingenfelter) Croft. She was the common-law wife of Gordon S. Hampton.
In addition to her husband, surviving are three children: Juliet R. Hampton (special friend, Jason), Lorena J. Hampton (fiance, Jason Runk) and Gordon S. Hampton II, a stepdaughter, Kathy Ann (David) Heath, nine grandchildren; and seven siblings: Roger Landis (Shirley) Croft Bryon (Jenny) Farber Charlie Shade, Lisa Mussleman (fiance, Steve Foor), Robert Gallagher, Elmer (Paula) Sprow, and Hazel (Jim) Beste
Debbie was a 1980 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was a home- maker and a member of Faith Baptist Church, Altoona.
She enjoyed dancing, walking, swimming and collecting “The Flintstones” and “Tweety Bird” memorabilia.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019, at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, Pastor Gary Dull officiating. Interment will be private at the con- venience of the family at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Jones Funeral Home to help with expenses
