Esther E. Wenner, 92, of Allentown, died October 12, 2004, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Herbert D. Wenner. She was a waitress for the former Well House Restaurant, Allentown, before retiring. Previously, she was a waitress for various restaurants in Allentown.
Born in Unionville, Carbon County, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Clara (Heydt) Knappenberger. She was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown. She was a member of the Anne Penn Allen Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Allentown.
Survivors: Son, Lamont C. and his wife Betty M. Hontz of Whitehall; daughter, Jane L., wife of John V. Harvey, and sister, Lillian Radcliffe, all of Allentown; grandchildren, Keith Hontz, Sharon Stuart, Kimberly Grey, John H. Harvey, Janelle Harvey, Samantha Muse; eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara A. Keller, in 1999.
