Services for Jacob L. Brown, 904 Oneida St., will be 11 a.m. Satur- day at Payne Memorial AME Church .with burial in Garden of Memories Cem- etery. Graveside Masonic rites will be conducted by St. John's Lodge 35 AM.
Mr. Brown died Sunday night at Schoitz Medical Center.
He was born Jacob Brown July at Muchakinock, son of Jacob F. and Hattie L. Williams Brown.
He married Gladys Moore Feb. at Waterloo. She died in 1963.
He retired from the John Deere Tractor Works in 1962.
Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Lathier Bagsby of 319 Glenwood St., Mrs. Suyvella Burkett of 711 Beech St., Mrs. Clementine Amos of 704 Beech St., Mrs. Hallie Harrington of 929 Linden Ave., Mrs. Rose Brewer of Des Moines, Mrs. Marlys Austin of 904 Oneida St. and Mrs. Celestine Griggs and Mrs. Michele McChris- tian, both of Rialto, Calif.; two sons, LaVern Brown of 310 Oliver St. and Marquis Brown of Davenport; and 37 grandchildren and 45 great-grand- children.
Friends may call at Chapel East Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church after a.m. Saturday.
