She had attended the McGolrick and Assumption Hall elementary schools before graduating from Hibbing High School in 1933. She had worked for First National Bank and later for First Bank as a teller, retiring after 40 years of service.
She was past president of Hibbing Business and Professional Womens Club and a charter member of Italian American Club, First Bank Retirement Club and Sisters Birthday Club Group. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by brothers: Dominic, Frank and Angelo Bretto; and a sister, Matilda Gimpl.
Kiki is survived by her brother, Joseph Bretto; sisters-in-law: Margaret Bretto and Condida Bretto; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
