Age 70, of Anoka, Minnesota, succumbed to lymphoma in the company of his wife and with the love of his family on Friday, November 29, 2019. Norm served the nation as a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve for over 20 years. He retired after attaining the rank of Major. Norm was Commander of the University of Minnesota American Legion Post 548. He also served for many years as Chairperson for the JRAB (Joint Retiree Activity Board), a group that sponsored annual information sessions open to retirees from all branches of the military. Norm was a professional salesman for over 30 years and worked for several companies before starting his own business, BenCom Enterprises, LLC.
