He is survived by his wife, Marna Carter of Spiro, Oklahoma, daughter, Ruth Ann Davies and husband Terry of Spiro, Oklahoma, son, Kelly Carter and wife Angie of Keota, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Brandon Davies and wife Amanda of Spiro, Oklahoma, Andrea Davies of Spiro, Oklahoma, Jessica Rust and husband Tim of Spiro, Oklahoma, Koby Carter and wife Taryn of Spiro, Oklahoma, Maggie Carter of Keota, Oklahoma, Justin Rogers and wife Brittany of Edmond, Oklahoma, great grandchildren; Kameron , Kandace, Zac, Karson, Tristan, Aniston, Ryker, Oakley.
Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Renea Carter Rogers, parents, Henry and Ocie Carter, sisters; Wanda, Bonnie, Edith, brothers; Earl, Elmer, Paul, and Kenneth.
He did body work for over 40 years. Don loved riding horses, fishing, working cattle and racing cars, in his younger years. His favorite pastime was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
