Faircloth – Mark Anthony Faircloth, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2019. He was born in Munford, Tennessee on April 19, 1958 to James Bryant Faircloth and Mary Evelyn Knight Faircloth. Mark graduated from Nathan Bedford Forrest High School in 1976. He played the saxophone in the High School Marching Band. Mark was also very athletic and played both baseball and football. He began working for Winn Dixie when he was just 16 years old. He later became a Superintendent at Williams & Rowe Construction Company where he built and remodeled Winn Dixie stores for almost 30 years. He was extremely talented and could fix anything. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family whom he loved dearly. His family said if they were to describe Mark in one word it would be “Giver”.
Mark is survived by his parents, James and Mary Faircloth of Green Cove Springs, FL; daughter Melissa Faircloth (Chase) Hester of Callahan, FL; sister, Ramona Cunningham of Green Cove Springs, FL; and grandson, Jackson Bryant Bennett.
A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Mayfield officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Nassau Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. TODD FERREIRA FUNERAL SERVICES, 250 North Lowder Street, Macclenny, FL 32063 (904)259-5700.
