Opal Sue Foust Adams, 87, of Greensboro passed away on Dec 1, 2019 in Oak Island, NC.

Sue was born in Richmond, VA to Ressie and Mabel Foust on November 25, 1932. She graduated from Sumner High School in May 1952 and married Otis Clyde Adams July 4, 1952. She was a secretary for JP Stevens and several other companies for over 20 years. She enjoyed painting, crafts, movies, singing, traveling, church and helping her Aunt Pauline with the Pugh reunions.

Sue was a member of Shannon Hills Chapel in Greensboro and Shoreline Baptist Church in Southport, NC. She loved being with her family, neighbors and friends. She will be missed and thought of fondly by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her siblings Bill Foust, Bob Foust, and Brenda Atkins and her daughter Rebecca L. Adams.

Sue is survived by her husband of 67years, Otis Clyde Adams; daughters, Brenda Gale Adams, Bonnie Sue Adams Morrow and husband Ronald E. Morrow; grandchildren, Ryan McKinley Beasley, Dustin Richard Beasley, Adam Eugene Morrow and wife Whitney Johnson Morrow, Emily Gail Morrow; nephews and nieces, Tommy Burns, Michael Burns, Eddie Foust, Gene Foust, Gwen Madderra, Carolyn Foust, Sam Foust, Tim Foust, Kenneth Foust and Kim Allen.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 - 12:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro.
