Petti was a retired nurse who enjoyed helping others.

Her infant daughter Chelsea was murdered in Kerrville, by serial killer nurse Genene Jones. Petti became a passionate advocate for other parents seeking justice in the untimely deaths of their children in San Antonio in the 1980s.

McClellan-Wiese lived in the Houston and Kerrville areas for much of her life. More recently, she was a resident of Prairieville, La.

She is survived by her daughter Kiley McClellan (Jeremy Holbrook); her son Cameron Simpson (Tammy). Other survivors include three sisters and their spouses: Kim Richardson (David), Leslie Niggemyer (Fernando), and Teri Jon Niggemyer; brother Cary Coats; her mother Robin Alexander. Mrs. Wiese also leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren, Bryce Brown, MaeLynn Worsham, and Camden Holbrook; nephews Ethan and Evan Richardson.

McClellan-Wiese was preceded in death by her father Jim Coats; her daughter Chelsea McClellan; and her nephew Jonryan Paysse.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 7 PM at the Pavilion in Burroughs Park in Tomball, TX. The address is 9738 Hufsmith Rd, Tomball, TX 77375.
