He was owner and operator of Tom's Supermarket in Chesapeake and attended First Baptist Church of Chesapeake. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a 32nd degree mason with Chelyan Lodge #158. He was a 47 year member of the Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. He was also a member of the former Chesapeake Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by Wife of 59 years: Donna Louise Rathbone Cox and
Parents: William C. and Mildred Sinnett Cox.
Surviving Are:
Daughter, Krista Cox,
Granddaughter, Ginny Milsap and
Nephews: John and Charles (Robin) Chalfant.
Special friends: Bo (Deena) Milsap.
Funeral will be Noon Friday December 13, 2019 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet. Burial will follow in Gandeeville Cemetery where Masonic graveside rites will be conducted by Chelyan Lodge #158. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday December 12, 2019 at the Chesapeake City Hall Recreation Building.
