John M. Alpaugh, a resident of Cokesbury for many years, died on Monday in the State Asylum near Trenton, where he had been taken only about two weeks ago. The deceased was about 40 years of age. Previous to being taken to the institution, however, he resided with his mother, Mrs. Oliver Alpaugh, on what is known as the John Lane farm, near Cokesbury. Besides his mother, he is survived by a widow, one son, a sister and three brothers. The body was brought to Cokesbury yesterday and the funeral held at the M.E. Church there. The burial was at Cokesbury.
