Thomas Kersey, 57, of Richmond, passed away January 19, 2015, at the Compassionate Care Center after a long illness.
Mr. Kersey was a native of Madison County, a son of the late Oscar and Margie Renfro Kersey. He was a retired auto mechanic who enjoyed auto racing, cars and LSU football.
Survivors include: his son, Scott Kersey II of Winnsboro, S.C.; his brother, William (and wife Shevana) Kersey; his sisters, Kathy (and husband Rod) Tudor, Judy Taylor, Sheila (and husband Jeff) Westin and Rebecca (and husband Jimmy) Henry; his granddaughter Lillian Annalise Kersey.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home with Wade Coyle officiating. Friends will gather to visit beginning at noon.
