Obituary: Rosalind Jean Baker, age 71, of Cairo, WV passed away December 01, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 06, 1948 at Petroleum, WV, the daughter of the late Francis Edwin Jonas and Dorothy Mae Rutherford Jonas. Rosalind worked for 35 years 1968 until 2003 at the U.S. Treasury as Assistant Secretary for the tax policy. She is survived by her husband Larry G. Baker; daughters, Vicki L. Shaw of Newtown, CT and Krista S. Baker of Cairo; grandson, Austin D. McCumbers; stepson, Larry G. Baker, Jr. of Sharon, SC and stepdaughter, Angela M. Baker of Indian Land, SC. She was preceded in death by infants, James and Sarah Jonas; brother, Rodger Jonas and nephew, Warren “Kent” Jonas. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, December 11, 2019 at Cairo Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
