Samuel L. McGarry, 81, of Woodsfield, Route 1, died at his home Tuesday morning, November 22 1966, following a short illness.
He was born near Harriettsville, December 8, 1884, the son of Harvey and Rhoda Love McGarry.
Surviving are his wife Hallie McGarry; one son, Mark McGarry of Phalanx Station, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. John Fogle, of Trenton, Michigan, and Mrs. Kenneth Roberts of Mantua, Ohio; two brothers, Floyd McGarry of Lewisville, and Harvey McGarry, of Mantua, Ohio; one sister , Mrs. Blanche Lee, of Warren, Ohio and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 O'clock in ht Gardner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Cunningham officiating. Burial was in the Road Fork Cemetery, near Harriettsville.
