The funeral service for Mrs. Doris Moore, 71, of White Plains, will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, in the Chapel of K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jacksonville. Rev. Garry Brown will be officiating and burial will follow at Nances Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 1 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moore passed away on December 8, 2019, at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Moore was a graduate of Gadsden Business College where she studied to be a medical assistant. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her parents, Nowlin and Lydia Andrews, and her brothers, Knox Andrews, Jack Andrews, and Jimmy Andrews.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Dale Moore, with whom she had just celebrated 50 years of marriage; a daughter, Michelle Moore; her son, Scotty Moore (Stephanie); Cimaron LeFlore, who was like a daughter; grandchildren, Elaina Skala, Jacob Skala, Parker Moore, and Brody Moore; a sister, Linda Smith; brothers, Cecil Andrews, Clayton Andrews, John Andrews (Kathy), and Perry Andrews; her fur baby, Chase; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Skala, Drake Thornton, Jeff Barnwell, Chris Clay, Buff Hall, and Bert Rowan.
