Rev. Casey Ferrell Anders, age 72 of Tazewell, TN, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 surrounded by his wife, children, and brothers after a courageous battle with cancer.

Casey is proceeded in death by his parents, Grant and Ruby Harvey Anders; brother, Kenneth Anders and Nephew Kevin Anders.

He is survived by his loving Wife of 50 years: Sandy Coffey Anders; Son: Stacey (wife Suzanne) Anders; Daughter: Wendy (husband Travis Muncy; Grandchildren: Collin and Mabry Anders, Cameron, Cooper and Courtney Muncy all of Tazewell; Brother: Kelly (Jan) Anders of Tazewell; Gary Anders of Knoxville, TN and sister-in-law, Barbra Anders; special Cousins, Gail (Robert) Gibbons of Kingstree, S.C.; Dyann Mallard of Coulmbia, S.C; Evelyn Hensley of Tazewell, TN and a host of nieces, nephews and many other living relatives and friends.

Casey was a loving father, grandfather, and devoted friend to all who knew him. Many people will remember Casey from his Payne Motor Company days or at Anders Car Mart, where he worked until retirement. Most recently he is remembered as a bus driver and substitute teacher for the Claiborne County School System. Casey touched many lives while working for the school system and was loved by all. He loved to cut up and make people laugh. He was devoted to his church, Lone Mountain Baptist and was honored to have been able to baptize all 5 of his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. followed by a celebration of life service at 3:00 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lawrence Fultz, Rev. J.D. Estep, Rev. Kim Collingsworth and Rev. John Hatfield officiate the service. Music will be provided by Barbara Hatfield, David Painter and Robert Gibbons.
